If you have lost or damaged a book or other library item then contact the Library immediately by emailing library@wintec.ac.nz with the details of the book/item and your contact details.
If you have lost a book or other library item you will need to either replace the book, or pay for its cost. If you choose to pay for a book instead of replacing it, there will be an additional $10 administration fee to pay.
If it is damaged please bring it into the Library and we will check if it can be repaired, or if you need to replace or pay for it. Please don't attempt to mend it yourself, as the Library has the specialist material needed for mending.
Don't delay, remember that you can renew a book up to three times (as long as no-one is waiting for it) while you hunt for your misplaced item. Contact the library - library@wintec.ac.nz if at all worried.
When looking for a lost book, remember to check any bookshelves you have, under your bed, lockers, bags, in your car (particularly under car seats and the boot). Ask your friends if they happened to pick it up by mistake.
