Library - How do I take stuff out of the Library?

To take stuff out of the Library you need to have a Wintec Student ID Card and be currently enrolled as a student. If you haven't got one yet, then see the Student Enrolment and Information Centre at either the City or Rotokauri Campuses.

If you have an ID Card but have left it at home, then we will accept other photo ID, such as a driver's license or passport, so that you can take items out.

You can borrow books, DVDs, CDs and journals from the Library. We also have online resources that you can use.

You can use our self-issue machine to take most items out, or if you have a problem just come up to the Library's front desk. You can issue items without your student id card, you just need to type in your Wintec username and password into the self-issue machine. To find out where we are located click here.
