What is a paper?
Your programme is made up of different subjects which are called papers - you may sometimes hear them referred to as modules. Your programme may consist of compulsory or elective papers - an elective paper means you can choose which papers you study as part of your qualification.
How do I see a list of papers that are a part of my programme?
You can find a list of papers either:
- On moodle
- In your student hand book
- On our website. To find these on our website click here and navigate through to your chosen programme
How do I apply for my papers?
If you're doing compulsory papers or know which electives you would like to apply for then you can apply either of the following ways:
- Apply online by signing into your student@wintec account.
- Come and see us in the Student Enrolment and Information Centre
If you're doing elective papers and you need some help to choose your papers then you need to see your programme co-ordinator. Both the Student Enrolment and Information Centre and your school/centre can book an appointment so pop in and see either of us to book that in. You can also book by giving us a call on 0800 2 WINTEC or through live-chat on our website.
