What assistance is available via MPTT?

 The following assistance will be available to you via Māori & Pasifika Trade Training (MPTT) funding:

• The courses are fee free
• You will receive the support required to gain the skills and experience that our community and employers require
• Support is provided to gain work experience on a real live work site

• We know that often things occur in life that can make the student journey challenging!  We have student advisors who are here to help you to overcome these so you can be successful on your student journey.  They can refer you to the right people and services to support you through issues that are impacting on your student experience. 

• Assistance is available during your study to help you prepare for work.  This can include help to prepare a CV, learning how to promote yourself and preparing for job interviews. 

• When you successfully complete your qualification/course, help is available to find a job and upon successful work placement you will be eligible for a tool grant.
