Internet from Home (Proxy)

If you are taking a Wintec computer home/off-campus you might need to change the proxy settings so your internet works.

1. Click start Type Internet options

2. Click on Connections, then Lan Settings

3. For off site - Click on Automatically Detect settings and Untick use a proxy server for LAN

4. When you are onsite again you must repeat steps 1- 2 and tick the box Use a proxy server and untick automatically detect settings
